Installation
How to download and install DualStream on your computer.
DualStream is available for Windows. Support for Apple coming soon!
Windows
Windows 10 or later with a 64-bit architecture is required to run DualStream.
- Visit dualstream.gg and download the installer.
- Locate and run the downloaded installer file.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Launch DualStream.
Updates
DualStream will notify you when updates are available. To manually check:
- Navigate to Settings → General → Updates.
- Click Check for Updates.
If an update is available, download it and install.
Troubleshooting Installation
Antivirus False Positives
Some antivirus software may incorrectly flag the DualStream installer. This is a false positive — DualStream is safe to install.
To work around this:
- Temporarily disable real-time protection while installing (re-enable it after).
- Or add DualStream to your antivirus allowlist/whitelist.
Outdated System Components
If installation fails:
- Ensure your Windows operating system is fully up to date via Settings → Windows Update.
- Run the Windows System File Checker by opening Command Prompt as administrator and entering:
sfc /scannow
